May 16th 2015 - Warbirds Over the Beach - Military Aviation Museum - Virginia Beach
I traveled to the Virginia Beach area primarily to attend this airshow. The Museum and airshow are financed by an individual that has a love of old aircraft. No acrobatics or high speeds just old planes flying by - I truly enjoyed it.

Waco YMF-5 the Museum used to sell quick flights - about $150 I believe

PT-19 Cornell also selling rides - $95 for 20 minutes - if had not been saving for our European trip this summer I would have likely gone for one.

Commemorative Air Force P-51 "Red Tail" was also selling rides - I believe they start at $1,200 - maybe someday.

They had a few takers.

They worked on the Spitfire most of the morning then towed it to the flightline - but it did not fly - what a pity.

They had three FW-190 but none of them flew - believe they are undergoing restoration.

This L-39 Albatros made a single pass before the show began.

There were several T-6's
