In 1971 our family took the first (at least for me) of many extended summer vacations. All the photos on this page where taken by my father. The real point of this trip was to visit my youngest sister who had recently married and moved to Idaho - but given my family's love of travel we saw and did many interesting things along the way. I turned six during this trip.
Air Force Academy
My father was a recently retired Air Force pilot. And I suspect hoped one of his sons would follow his footsteps.

Family (less Dad) again - not sure if I am intrigued or bored
During our time at Yellowstone we stayed at a cousin's cabin just outside the park. I am peeking around the tree.
