I spent a couple days driving the Blue Ridge from the Virginia State Line to Linville Falls. 

Blue Ridge.

Brineger Cabin - which gives some idea of the lives of people who lived here 100 years ago..

Crabtree Falls.

Grandfather Mountain.

Linn Cove Viaduct - some amazing engineering as the parkways winds along side a mountain without cutting into it..

Linnville River.

Above the falls.

Then it plunges into a canyon.
